Almanac vs. Confluence
First off, we'd be remiss to acknowledge that Atlassian is a juggernaut in this space — congrats to their team on all their success.
That being said, Confluence was created in 2004 and, well frankly, it shows.
We hear it all the time:
"We collaborate in Google Docs (because Confluence's editor is terrible), paste them into Confluence (losing all context of the collaboration), and then they are never seen, updated, or used again."
We're different.
Almanac is a true document editor with powerful version control that is a joy to collaborate in, whether in real-time or asynchronously. Our platform makes it easy to organize, revise, and reference your work — so that collaboration is easy.
Because people actually enjoy editing and collaborating in Almanac, keeping docs organized and up-to-date is only one click away.
Modern teams need modern solutions that fit how they work today, not in 2004.
